The fabric is very thin and doesn't feel very durable. You can see where it was glued and it has silver paint splatters. It would be ok for one time use like photo shoots but not as a sunscreen.

As mentioned in the review below, it doesn't feel quite like paper and more like cheap flimsy nylon. Also, the bright red plastic stopper is conveniently hidden at the top of the photos. I had to color it with black marker. Worked secondarily with modifications for our wedding but would have preferred more candid product photos.

Not paper but a material that is AMAZING because it won't tear! I've had paper umbrellas in the past and they all tear over time, fall apart when wet etc. but this one isn't paper so water or accidental bumps can't damage it! It LOOKS like paper because it's nice and thin so the style looks really good. It protects you from the sun and provides pleasant shade when it is hot.
