Very good for the price

It's ok. I would give them 4 stars but they cost so little compared to the thinner and much more expensive clips I've found locally that I think they're worth 5 stars. As mentioned by other reviewers the tips fall off very easily so I coated them with urethane glue and so far they have held tight.

Pros
  • Heavy metal
Cons
  • Expensive

Clip Orange Pads Leak & Stain

If you intend to use these clamps for woodworking, be aware that the loosely fitted orange rubber grommets may leach into the oil. Wood you pinch, stain and ruin your project. This happened with two musical instruments that I collect. Needless to say, it looks terrible. Keep this in mind when ordering this project for porous materials like wood.

Pros
  • 12 pcs. (bulk packed) / per order
Cons
  • Only available in black

2 1/2 inches is more appropriate. Also to promote it as "Great ".

These size clips are available from Home Depot for $1 each. I'm sending mine back because it doesn't have the 3" jaw opening as advertised. 2 1/2" is more like it. It's also not accurate to advertise it as a 'large' clip. This type of large clip has at least a 3" clip hole. 3 1/2 is the "biggest" hole I've had to say the least disappointed, I don't recommend it.

Pros
  • Orange PVC coated tips and handles
Cons
  • Thin
