Incipio Clear Edge Slider Crystal Case for iPod Nano 5G - 20/20 Clear Review

Terrible design of this product. Why make an iPod case that will prevent you from using your headphones? The case is solid, but be careful when using headphones with your iPod.

I was happy with this case until I tried another pair of headphones (non-iPod). The earpiece didn't fit through the hole. Unfortunately, this is a deal breaker for me. Despite the FM radio in the iPod headphones, I have in-ear headphones that I prefer. For users who use the original headphones, this case will fit.

The case I received had a scratch on the back. I even thought if it looks normal then there isn't enough space in the case for other connectors. Therefore, it has to be constantly removed when you want to connect different headphones, cables or dock connectors, etc. If I knew this would happen I would buy a silicone case that I could easily remove whenever I wanted to plug in my Itrip and my Bose speakers.

I rarely say that about a product, but the Incipio EDGE Slider Crystal Case for iPod nano 5G is complete junk. It comes without instructions. The cover snaps into place and is almost impossible to remove. The case does NOT cover the screen, but provides screen protection that is larger than a hole. Return it to Revane immediately.

Beware. While this case fits perfectly and looks like it's not there and offers good scratch protection, it's not practical. Almost no 3.5mm headphones and cables will fit in the narrow passage provided for the jack (iPod headphones only, it seems). The Nano's already small control ring is difficult to access due to the thickness of the plastic directly around it. I have never heard of this brand but I was willing to take the risk as I could get it at a good price. I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of this case; The packaging is also of good quality. The case fits perfectly and is very sturdy. It also came with several accessories; Screen and wheel protectors, a cleaning cloth, and a neat little stand that fits both iPod nano (5th gen) and iPhone/iPod Touch (3G/3rd gen). This Incipio item is a piece of crap. I bought it from Revain.com and was happy with the shipping and cost ($5.96). However, this is the worst electronic case I have ever used! As stated in Incipio's description, it is transparent and plastic. Everything else is a lie! The screen bubbles to the point where you can't see your menu or the songs that are playing.
