UPDATE: Didn't work out. The sound mechanism broke after 6 months of moderate and careful use by a child. I ended up throwing it away. Fun for a short time but not for long, especially if you want toys that can be an investment for future children. My 6-9 month old loves it and it's small so a good travel toy. There are different songs, so it's not that annoying.

Gifted to a child once they have learned to hold things. The songs aren't annoying (actually quite catchy) and the kid really liked them. But they always break. If you turn the volume to maximum after a while, the device keeps rebooting. Too bad because it's one of the best toys we've ever bought. Baby Einstein is much better in my opinion. But we bought two of these in her first year and I'm going to buy a third because she loves it.

This is our favorite toy to keep our 1 year old busy changing him because he the fuck stopped changing diapers these days! This toucan never lets you get bored and we also love driving and visiting a doctor. Better than a screen in front of his face! This is our second toucan toy because my son loved the first one so much he started making weird noises after dropping/throwing it too many times.

We tried two of these toys because my daughter absolutely loves them. As someone said, it's more of a master problem. We have light up/musical toys from other brands that outperform the house and still work. I really wish Infantino would improve on that. Your toys are very creative and my children have enjoyed them for many years, but they need to be much more durable. If Infantino would improve on this toy I would definitely buy another one for my daughter.

My daughter loved this toy. The songs are fun and the buttons are easy to press since she was 3 months old. It's lasted at least 7 months in terms of entertainment, but unfortunately we've survived two of them (with repairs on each one!) and they keep breaking. She's not particularly harsh on them, other than the occasional throw out of a car seat when she gets tired of it. So I guess it's a skill thing. I thought it was more like Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes and lights up several different colors - our kid likes that. But instead this toy has 4 translucent piano keys of different colors, but the light underneath is the same color, which manifests itself in 4 very similar color light effects, which if that's a good thing, isn't what I wanted. And there don't seem to be many. Songs. And when you pick the numbers, the numbers all say "one", "two", etc. All in all, a great idea, but not very…
