Overall it's a really good case, but it can't hold the tablet in an upright position. The bottom of the tablet simply slides forward and it folds down. I know they wanted foot position to be "infinitely adjustable" but the materials they chose for the contact patches just don't support that. They had to have some ridges, grooves, or strips of material to hold them in place.

Quality and design are outstanding. I wish it had a dedicated spot for the S Pen, but that doesn't matter. The only downside is that it makes the tablet thicker, but that's a plus for me as I have arthritis in my hands and holding thin devices can start to hurt after a while.

My biggest criticism of this item is that it barely holds the tablet but manages that the inner edge (left) of the tablet cannot hold the S Pen The S -Pen is on the outer edge where it can be knocked out very easily. When you close a folio I assume it's safe, but when I'm using a tablet I mostly use my fingers. So I put the S in my sleeve pocket. In fact, Samsung is also responsible for developing this magnetic holder, which should boost sales of S Pens when people lose them. I wish there was a

I bought this tablet for three reasons: 1, this is my fourth Samsung tablet, I still have and use two (see photo), 2, I wanted a slightly larger screen, and 3 , the model has more RAM. I love Samsung products. My flat screen TV and Blu-ray player are also Samsung. NO PROBLEM. I've also had trouble free Samsung cell phones in the past.
