Works great when installed correctly

The lamps work great, I removed the drivers and powered them from a 12v power supply and buck converter. At 3.5 volts they are stable and look great.

110v is a great mod, 12v is not good.

We need these for 12V. The driver supplies 12V. The transformer that says the output is 3-12V has been removed. The 12V driver blinks three times. On the other hand, they work great at 110V with a small transformer.

Looks really cool.

The only complaint is that they don't have a mini junction box to run the Romax cable into the house. You must purchase a set of single block junction boxes to legally connect them. Other than that, they work great, they're bright, and they look like little stars in your closet. Very cool.

some creativity is required for a safe installation that complies with electrical regulations

I built these into the wall of a cabinet I built as part of a bathroom renovation. I used an electrical box that mounts flush with the back of the drywall to house the transformer and simply cut out a circle with a light hole saw to fit the light in the box.

NOT DIMMABLE but good deal

They are exactly as stated. I just overlooked that they are NOT DIMMABLE. I got confused comparing different light sources and accidentally selected them. They are of excellent build quality, made of solid aluminium, the color appears to change throughout the field of light, the lenses appear to distort the color of the beam. HOWEVER I am color blind but can still tell if it changes from one area to another. Only time will tell if the lamp and driver are of good quality. 3 photos uploaded…

Buyer Warning. 120 volts are needed to power each head.

I bought ten of these ceiling lights. The plan was to turn them on from a remote driver listed in the suggested "bought together" purchases. I saw that they come with separate drivers when I started installing them. The specs don't say that each bulb requires 120 volts. I disabled the individual drivers and connected them to a 12 volt DC remote driver I bought (individual drivers are listed as 3 to 12 volt DC). was bad, the second did the same. Apparently the drivers are factory set to 3 volts.
