Tested on Gina K's version. This protected the image underneath. But when I tried to take it off (I tried several different parts) the mask just fell apart. I had to use tweezers to remove all the small pieces from my card. Although it stuck well. So if you only need to use it once, this will work. I've only used this product once so far and it was great to be able to mask part of my stamp while watercoloring the other part. Once you peel off the backing, the paper is as sticky, maybe less sticky, than a post-it note. I will also use it for example to mask flowers while creating some green "behind" them. I really like using this product. This works a lot better than trying to complete the masking process by stamping, cutting, and using removable tape or glue on your project. I can cut out images and reuse them multiple times. The paper is very thin so your stamp on and around the mask will stay true. I want to give this product 5 stars.
