PID problem - temperature controller

I set them up with ice water and changed the temperature according to the set temperature with two other thermometers, then I did it on the hot side and they weren't very consistent but I I changed them again as I use them to heat soups and keep them warm. Had to play around with manual automatics and no manual but not sure I have them, I set 36C and it goes up to 40C. Eventually I set them up, they haven't been for about a month used and a half when i ran them the calibrations were off again…

Not bad, especially for the price!

I used this on a 40 year old oven that I took when trying to convert it from the old cone method to the newer way with this controller. Since I'm running 240 volts and around 50-60 amps here, I'm amazed at how well it worked, especially considering how close it was to the oven (mostly touching the outside, which is still very hot), though i decided to hook up two bottom switches in addition to this guy because i figured he could handle it. Most likely it's my fault for not using the correct…

Good deal, saved me time building one in Arduino etc.

Used for my lead smelting ball casting kit. Once set up properly (he insists on "learning the automatic constants" first - it works very well despite some horrible intermittent load changes (pour more cold alloy into the foundry to cast it). One of the compounds seems to you degrees to give F (additional jumpers on TC wiring) but I just left it on C. Sometimes a little overshoot - on hard hit with too much load and maybe wrong sensor placement but way better than I need for that Can be tricky…

Works very well, manual is pretty poor

I used this to make a temperature controller for various purposes. It was easy enough to connect after watching some YouTube videos. The quality seems decent and it works well (I suspect it will hold the temperature better if I fiddle around with the settings a bit. The manual is quite crappy to be honest. It's nice to have, but it is not very useful). Changing the temperature to a large value is required for ALWAYS. The change "speeds up" a bit if you hold down the adjustment button, but it…

Great for the price good temperature control

Overall seems to work well, lots of options to set up but for basic operation it works right out of the box. I am using this for a 200w heating system and the PID parameters seem to be holding the set point excellently. There is actually a schematic/pin numbers on the side of the controller, and the thermocouple, relay, and heatsink all seem to be doing their job. Due to the low power of my system I don't actually use a heatsink with a relay, I use it for something else. The manual mentions…

Works great: Temperature Controller

I'm a Controls Engineer and can program Watlow 988 type controllers for industrial applications. I bought this Inkbird controller for a fun home project with low expectations considering it's cheap. However, I was surprised at how much I like this controller. I was only able to connect it following the diagram printed on the side of the device. I then ran into the same problem as GB did in their review where they said they couldn't get it back into autotune mode. I checked the help manual and…
