Great alternative to the Elgato universal mount

I bought this to use with my Nikon D5200 and it was worth it. It fits my large DSLR with no problems. The only complaint I have is that it seems pretty cheap, but it's only $25 so can't really complain about that. If you're looking for an affordable alternative to the Elgato Multi-Mount, then you've found it.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Inexpensive but works

Cons: - The mount doesn't extend very far. - It's not very strong. - The clamp only has foam on one side. Pros: - It's inexpensive - It works, if you don't need the strongest hand this will work just fine. What I wear on it: - A7Riii +24mm GM- A7Riii +24-105mm G @ 105mm What I can't fit on it: - A7Riii + 100-400 GM @ 400mm (too much front weight, too weak, it will hold but stoop and unsafe feel) Hope this helps!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I have doubts

Well I was invited to do a podcast the other day and every time it took me a few minutes to put up some lights. After a few times, I wanted something that would sit on my desk all the time. I attached this stand to the back of my desk and used it to hold the main light while the fill light was mounted on a 6" tripod on my desk. I highly recommend getting this mounting stand if you regularly do zooms or videos of any kind, meetings, or if you need permanent lighting on your desk.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • It bothers me
