🏌️ Innova - DX Champion Discs TeeBird Golf Disc (Multiple Color Options) Review

I love this disc. My friend has a couple of discs and I've tried different speeds and weights and I find this disc to be the one I throw best.

Flies well, has a good grip and I would say beginner friendly. If you can throw it with a little effort, it can fly quite a distance in good shape. This version is worth it and easier to throw than faster discs. Ours was light blue.

When released flat it flies pretty straight with a little tail on the end. I've found that if it starts with a slight curve to the right or left, it keeps curving and doesn't go away. But that's because I don't always post it flat. It's about 250 feet but I'm in my 60's so I'm happy.

These are the straightest discs I've tried, but they have a narrow rim, so if that doesn't bother you, try something like Dynamic Disc Escape with a wider rim. There's nothing wrong with them, I just prefer a wider rim and it's easier to control for a beginner.

Description says it's Innova - Champion Disks DX Teebird, it's not Champion plastic, kinda misleading. It's a DX plastic that scratches easily when hitting trees or rocks (of which we have plenty in the Arizona desert). Misleading description aside, this is a good flyer that flies fairly straight and long.

Teebird is an excellent overall disc for all players. I use it regularly in class. DX plastic is great (performance and price) but can easily hit trees compared to some other plastics. Also, the disc color on Revain is random if you really care. However, I prefer to buy from Revain because of their competitive pricing and free Prime shipping.

Teebird is a good standard disc for launchers. It has decent range, cushions well, and lands where I expect it to. The disc itself looks great and is a pleasure to throw. It's made from cheaper plastic (DX) so it's not durable, but if you're looking for a cheap investment, a test disc or just something that gives you more distance than a center then this is the disc. Consider!
