Larger than expected

We were renovating a rental property and had to replace the door stops to enter the premises. They look really cool so I ordered them. They were thicker and stronger than I expected and look great. They were easy to install and still work exactly as they should.

Heavy Duty Door Stop

Yes it is expensive compared to the door stops you usually find both online and in B&M improvement stores. I move. If it was a bit longer or attached to a baseboard it would be fine, but this room has a tiled wall with no baseboard. I installed it about six inches off the ground for…

Pros
  • Hands free operation

  • Very expensive

How we solved our problem

Because our forced ventilation unit is behind one of the doors, this doorstop needed to be longer than the other. We solved the problem by removing the tip from one of the doorstops and inserting a stopper which we painted with oil bronze paint. You would never realize it was a cork even if you were on all fours and
