Disappointing Quality of Mini Fuses

The Install Bay MANL100 Mini Fuses failed to deliver on their promised circuit protection. As my tests showed, the fuses were unreliable and failed to prevent electrical shorts in my industrial and scientific applications. The one benefit was their compact size, which made for easy installation, but that was outweighed by the cons of their poor performance. Overall, I wouldn't recommend these mini fuses for anyone in need of reliable circuit protection.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to its high-quality materials and construction.
Cons
  • May not fit all car models and may require additional adaptors or modifications.

It's a fuse, what can I say.

Excellent current flow. No claims from me. There's not much more to say about the fuse than making sure you're buying the correct amperage.

Pros
  • Fuses and accessories
Cons
  • Doubtful

faulty product best in fuses

About a month later I had a power problem with my amp. The fuse was fine (not blown) and the problem was intermittent. Pulling out the meter I found that my amp was getting 8 VDC. A 4 gauge wire with a single break for fuse is connected from the battery to the input. Replaced fuse - problem gone. never seen before But if you buy cheap, you get cheap

Pros
  • lighting and electrical
Cons
  • old
