This is a really nice design but the lid comes off easily and the black plastic piece on top that designed to prevent spillage of the drink, doesn't snap and stays closed. In other words, if you don't use it at home you might spill it while traveling. Had high hopes and will keep liquids hot and cold but is great as a travel mug or even during unusable during a car trip.

I have water glasses from this company and I really like them - they don't get hot and work great. This mug however. was a disaster. I use it for coffee and every time I use it I get coffee on me no matter how I try to sip from the glass. Also the thin part that closes the glass doesn't close. I wish I had spent that much on something that is basically useless to me now. Super cute design, but what does it matter if you can't use it?

So first the good: very cute, well made, keeps drinks cold for hours (I didn't use it for hot drinks). Cons: The plastic ring that holds the lid in place is not very easy to remove and can quickly become moldy if not washed and dried daily. Also, the piece of plastic that slides to close the lid is starting to loosen, making leakproofness risky, and it's annoying that after a few weeks of trying to drink from it, it's starting to slip off. If the lid has been improved it is definitely a 5 star…
