Description of ๐Ÿš 14x22 RV Vent Insulator and Camper Shower Skylight Cover - Non-Slip with Energy Saving Reflective Surface

Keeping the heat out of the rv with the double layer reflective side, blocks out the sun, keep heat out or cold out, helps to save on your electric bill. Full 2.8 inch of foam to help stop heat/light transfer. Fits 14"x 22" RV/camper shower skylights/vents. The exterior fabric cover has a zipper, can be removed for washing if needed. The latest upgrade: the four side faces are covered with non-slip particles, so that the RV vent insulator stays in the skylight and does not slip off.

Keeps sinking: HVAC

Won't stay in a domed skylight like the one above my camper shower. It's like putting a square pin in a round hole, but not to the same extent.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Perfect skylight insulator for showers

Perfect size for the skylight in my Toy Hauler shower camper. I love the reflective backing that keeps out the Texan summer heat!

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • So far so good

Quality product in the field of ventilation

I ordered for our shower partition in the mobile home. Unfortunately I didn't measure beforehand. It didn't match our skylight and I had to send it back. The return was processed quickly and without problems. The quality was very good. If it was in stock I would have no hesitation in ordering it the right size.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • A few little things

not suitable for HVAC systems

It folds in half which means it has storage and cannot unfold fully. This is the first negative. Secondly, it is not suitable for arched (curved) skylights. It wasn't in the product description so I figured it would fit. It just falls right out of my shower window.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Compatibility

Wow! Doesn't matter!

Our skylight let in a huge amount of heat - the bedroom never got to cool down. I installed this a few days ago and just stopped by to check the temp in the camper and it was MUCH cooler - day/night difference. Thermoregulation is just one benefit โ€“ it also allows you to get some sleep!

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Not bad

Won't hold up without velcro

Supposed to be for a shower on wheels but won't hold up in the shower roof window. I had to buy velcro and stick it to the hole and then she stood up. It definitely reduces the heat coming into the bathroom, but it doesn't just slip in and stay unassisted. Would give five stars if it actually worked without velcro.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

Every traveler needs this!

Tourists living in Florida are hot all year round. We keep ours online and usually try to get in as many weekends as possible. The bathroom is the only place where the heat usually stagnates. This vent isolator is of great importance. We only take it off in the shower, but we keep putting it on. I have no doubt this will keep you warm when it's cold outside. Because of my location, we rarely get really cold.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
