InterDesign 2 Compartment Under Storage Bedroom Review

This was the only under bed storage I could find that fits under a 5.5 inch space. So thankful! It also holds a lot. Easy enough to manipulate for a 5 year old to unzip and light enough for a small child to tuck under a bed.

There was a cardboard insert to stiffen it but it didn't work. It tips when you try to slide it under the bed or pull it out. Might work better on hardwood, but if you have carpet it's more trouble than it's worth. Instead, I'm now looking for a hard plastic bin under my bed.

Although not as strong as the hard plastic ones, this product is perfect for my needs. Our bed has a maximum floor clearance of 5 inches and can be slid under my bed. I also appreciate the zippered plastic lid to keep my stuff from getting dusty. We just moved into an apartment with limited storage and this allowed me to store my crafts under my bed.

Bought this to store off season clothes and it works well for that and slips under the bed easily. I only have 5 inches so my choices were limited. However, judging by the picture I expected it to have four strong sides - in fact only three sides are reinforced so this could be an improvement. I don't think this would be a good solution for storing many pairs of shoes, although clothes and maybe blankets/bedding will do.
