The description says this item is 3"x3"x2" i thought it would be perfect for my needs because the paper bin I replaced had 2 stacks of items and was 6" x 3". The bin is 3" x 3" it tapers towards the bottom, so the bottom is only 2.5" x 2.5 inches. It would be helpful if the description could list both internal and external measurements. The quality of the container seems good but I'm now looking for something more to store my stuff.

Very nice little baskets, BUT no matter how careful you are, the label adhesive sticks in the basket and is difficult to get out. Ruins the product for me and I don't think I will buy it again. If you're patient and willing to work, go for it. What a stupid way to ruin a good product. In the end I had to give up and throw this nonsense away. Gave 1 star because many people read the lowest rated reviews. There is a circular indentation at the bottom of the tray's outer center, presumably a common artifact of the manufacturing process. On a tray, this round indentation had sharp protrusions that cut my fingers. Because the plastic is transparent, sharp parts are very difficult to see. Sharp parts can be easily removed with a knife or file. When purchasing these trays, check and remove all sharp objects to avoid cutting yourself…

Firstly you can see them in the picture but the description doesn't make it clear so I will tell you these are not ribs on the bottom, Hold it in place, there are little rubber feet on the bottom. First I bought classic OCD and 2 small containers. I have other products from this company that have worked well for organizing my stuff in any room and in any closet - drawers and closets. The small ones are more expensive than some similar ones, but they aren't as good as these. This size is suitable for storing paper clips in a desk drawer or storing bobby pins in bathroom drawers. I've been using InterDesign Linus organizers for many years. I appreciated their usefulness, their design and their transparency. I have previously purchased these products from Bed, Bath & Beyond.
