Looks good and feels very solid once assembled. As with the others, there were no pilot holes on the bottom shelf. However, since the wood is quite soft, a hammer and a small nail are sufficient. It stains fairly well (I used oil based stain and satin polyester). There were a couple of small stains that 100% refused to take the stain even with extra attention and an extra layer of stain on just those small areas. They're more dirty blonde than hazel. Guess what adds "character" to the part lol!
