Know Your Diameter - Tubing, Fittings & Accessories

I bought a .593 but had to buy a .625 to fit 3/8 Flexzilla hoses. After depressing the clip, it is impossible to depress the barb choke. Good quality. I will not rate them less because of my mistake.

Go astray: Rough Plumbing

I found out and have come to the conclusion that I need .625 ferrules to fit the three different brands of 3/8 ID tubing I have ; Based on the vendors descriptions that hose fittings are 3/8 ID .593 I ordered these instead, but guess what. They do not fit. Trust my instincts. Order now and wait again.

CAREFULLY MEASURE!

I need to make some custom 3/8" rubber air hoses for the jumpers between my compressor and regulator/filter assembly at my home workshop. TUBE! Unfortunately, standard 3/8" ID rubber hose has an OD of 0.62", these grommets are too small to fit. Before ordering, use a set of calipers and measure the outside diameter of the hose you are working with. DO NOT USE THE STATEMENT THAT THEY ARE SUITABLE FOR 3/8" ID HOSE! Please return them as they will not work for my application.

Check your hose diameter before you buy

Newbie mistake on my part Probably, but I bought a 3/8" hose and these 3/8" nozzles. They don't fit the hose. The next size up doesn't state they are for 3/8 hose, they will fit. I will no longer buy from this company. If you don't want to spend your hard-earned cash, find out the diameter of the hose and don't assume that a 3/8" sleeve will fit a 3/8" hose just because it says so. I'm pretty sure it will fit another 3/8 hose, but not the rubber hose I bought from Home Depot.
