It's definitely brighter than my regular 60w equivalent bulbs, but I was expecting a lot more. In the picture the blueish one in the middle and the others are basic 60 W equivalent LED bulbs. It's bright but it doesn't seem to cast the light like other bulbs. I would compare it with a 100 to 120 w equivalent, in the amount it actually brightens the room. I was hoping to be blown away by it's 6000 lm. But it's really ho hum.

We put this in the shop that we call a pig barn. It has brightened up the space tremendously! Would definitely buy again. That's my review!

I like the lightbulb and don't have any negative things to say. Looking at the description, I expected it to be superbright, but I'd say it is "bright, but not superbright". I use it in a lamp, not directly, so that may be the reason I think it isn't superbright. It is NOT a standard size bulb, so that's something one needs to keep in mind while ordering it.

UPDATE: bulb did not even last a year with minimal use. It was great while it worked but 9 months later it is trash. Regular bulbs aren’t as bright but they last for many years at a fraction of the cost.This bulb is really bright! I replaced an older CFL bulb that was supposed to perform at a similar wattage. Not even close. this LED corn style bulb lights up the front and sides of my house. I am going to buy one of these for inside of my garage next.

It’s a decent brightness, but I really expected a crisp bright white light. there’s not much difference from them other standard bulb that I replaced. Pricey for the value.

I enjoyed the level of brightness that the bulb has. I enjoyed it so much I bought one for my neighbor.It was a bit thick and couldn't fit into an older light fixture we had in the backyard, so we tore down the light fixture and just used the bulb; which work just fine and provides awesome illumination.

Accidentally bought this for my bedroom nightstand light, it's too bright, should be used for warehouse or industrial area lighting

I bought these to go over my art table but they change the colors so much I had to return them. They are somewhat bright but I didn’t care for them.

Used in my two car garage. Only one light on the ceiling, with the garage door opener mounted right in front of it. I was impressed with the instant light when I turned on the switch, no warm up was needed. It puts out a lot of light, making the laundry room/garage useable.This replaced a three wing bulb that died when we lost power in a storm a number of times. This one is much better.
