The brush was in great shape, not what I wanted. Bought based on the description and reviews, this is a soft bristle brush. I was looking for a hard bristle brush so gave me a review saying it was a hard bristle brush and I had to grind the bristles, the wrong brush.

I bought this brush for myself. I have long, thick hair and I had a hard time finding a comb that I could actually use. I love this brush, it massages my scalp really well and actually brushes through every strand of hair when I use it. For the ladies who have the same problem as me, I recommend this brush.

Guys and gals, ignore the name of this brush and just enjoy one of the best fine bristle hairbrushes on the market. For about 2 years I've been looking for a fine bristle brush (not the "pen" type) that really gets through my thick hair to clean both my scalp and each strand of hair. This one does the trick. I knew from a previous review that it might feel "sharp" at first, so when I got it I ran my bristles over medium quality sandpaper and it worked great. I will be ordering at least 2 more…
