Rubber Hoof Pick with Brush by Intrepid International Review

This hook has become my favorite! This is a sturdy tool and the rubber grip makes it very comfortable to use. It's a little more expensive than regular hoof picks, but worth the few bucks more in my opinion. I'm going to buy some supplements so I always have them on hand.

I've had this hook for a few years now and it's holding up well. The black rubber cracks and falls off exposing the plastic underneath, which I don't really care, especially after so many years of ownership and an instructional program. The brush is still intact and working and the pickaxe is a regular hoof pick.

Like some other reviewers, I bought this shoe polish. I work as a roofer, so the treads of my boots are clogged with tar, glue, and other debris that affects traction. This pickaxe did a great job cleaning dirt off the soles of my boots. It's just the right size to fit the rails, feels comfortable in the hand, and the brush is handy for picking up loose debris so I don't chase it off the roof. Recommended for anyone who wears boots to work.
