Invicta Womens Diver Collection Two Tone Review

Bought this lovely watch for a trip to Hawaii in December 2016. Great for travel - withstood snorkeling and spa. I also wear a watch at the local water park with no problems; However, on my last visit, water started appearing on the face inside. The clock still works but the glass looks crappy. Since the warranty requires a $25 repair plus shipping, I don't think I would choose that option.

This is my second purchase of a ladies Invicta dive watch. I like the analogue black dial and the two tone strap. It's also a good size for my small wrist. You see, I'm still using the first watch. The glass on my watch recently cracked. This wasn't a problem until I saw moisture inside the watch on a very rainy day. :-( Not good. Although the moisture has dried up and the clock STILL works, I needed a backup in case it died.

Said to be water resistant to 600ft but when it arrived the instructions stated that to be used as a 'diver model' it must have a screw down crown which it does NOT. to have. Having worked with dive watches I know that it is necessary to tighten the screw so they don't absorb water otherwise there will be water on the dial. This watch will most likely only be splashproof. I doubt you can carry it to 600 feet.

I would actually love this watch (I'll be returning it) but the shank doesn't lock making the watch waterproof. It arrived in a box that had already been hacked when someone set the time and date (albeit to EST) so I can only speculate that whoever did it might have taken off the guard you normally do see behind a new clock stem.
