Very fast and reliable

I'm using this on a new iMac and it works great! Very fast and reliable. If you have USB-C, I think you will be very happy with this adapter.

CF cards no longer read after a few weeks

It is very difficult to insert the cards correctly right from the start. The CF reader is completely out of order. In order for the SD card to work, I have to insert and remove it multiple times. My last one lasted 6 years, this one less than a month.

Junk: Computers and Accessories

I've used this reader a total of 12 times in the last month to view security camera photos on Sandisk SD cards. No problem until TODAY, ONE DAY AFTER THE RETURNS WINDOW CLOSED. Has stopped working completely. I am very dissatisfied. Find another product, avoid it.

The transmission speed slows down significantly when using multiple cards

When reading multiple cards at the same time, the transmission speed slows down significantly. I bought this on purpose because it can read multiple cards at the same time, but it doesn't work as I expected. Also, the device gets very hot during transmission. I'll leave it at that for now because the transfer rate is high when reading a single UHS-II SD card.

Want a premium card reader? That's it!

Cards slide in tightly and smoothly, reading RAW files at lightning speed. I'm a Happy Tourist Shooter & Post Production. Very pleasant feel, well made and 6 inches, enough space for the cable. I would buy it again, especially considering the more expensive and inferior devices.

Died 3 days later at a photo gig

I like the stuff from IO Gear, there are a few things. This was unsuccessful. Something started rattling on the first day, and during a week-long photo shoot in another federal state, it completely died on me. I have a bag full of card adapters that I've used for the last 14 years and none of them have completely failed. Must have just been a bad line choice.
