Iomega Express Card Adapter 34948 Review

Really speeds up any external USB 3 high-speed connection. Easy to install and works great. This is another product that I would highly recommend to anyone.

I bought this with an external hard drive. No installation issues and the smaller map size helped with the limited disk space I have on the PC. It does what it should and at a good price.

This is a great card but if you lose the CD it will be quite difficult to find drivers for this card from iomega. However, working drivers can be found quickly. Just google the GIC320U drivers. This will take you to the IOGEAR page for drivers that work with this card. I hope this saves someone else a lot of frustration.

I needed a USB 3.0 card so that my computer can back up data in less time. The backup took 3 hours each time. With this adapter, that time has been reduced to less than 1/2 hour. This card was a little tricky to install. You must first install the drivers that are included on the CD, then install the card and Windows 7 will take some time to recognize it and set up the driver. Once installed it works fine but then you have to go to the Iomega website and download the new firmware and updated drivers.
