This would be a good tray for a very deep bath. Mine is your master built in bath which is not very deep. So when I filled the tub and put the tray in the right position, it was basically submerged. I love that it doesn't get moldy and I'm obsessed with the book/ipad stand! I was embarrassed that I hadn't made it. But don't knock until you've tried, folks!

We have a claw foot tub and it works great. My favorite is the book/ipad holder. It also helps hold soap and anything else you want. We don't use the other two holders (candle holders or coasters) but we have them in case we ever decide to use them. I like that they come off. As far as "suction power" goes, it doesn't have any sort of suction, but the rubber coating on the end makes it very stable.

We just remodeled our master bath and installed a freestanding bath. Our tub is 32 inches wide and this cart was the perfect size. It contains my soap, shampoo, conditioner, razor and cleanser. There are coasters for a glass of wine or an iPad. I don't usually use an iPad in the bath, but it can also double as an accountant. It is very durable and strong. End pieces have a white coating that protects the tub. I would recommend this item.
