This is a great little device! The functionality just keeps getting better with Chrome OS. I find this device works great and the only thing I have is that sometimes the lid unscrews and then the clip rotates. It's driving me crazy, but the functionality that allows me to write notes without the tablet recognizing my palm is key! I have and will recommend it to friends and family!

Like many USI-compatible Chromebook owners, I've been on the lookout for a USI stylus. I'm glad I finally found the iPlume Stylus. I bought two, one for myself to use with the Lenovo Chromebook Duet and one for my daughter to use with her Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5. She, like many other students, is taking classes online and has a lot of homework that is done digitally. I can say that the pen works great with both Chromebooks. Buttons are the only exception. I didn't want to write a review but after using the drawing pen for more than 5 months I have to say that this is a great product. But what absolutely stands out is their customer service. I wasn't expecting a response to the replaceable nib question, but to my surprise it was the most polite communication I've had in a long time. This is important as you will need replacement nibs no matter which stylus you buy. And this brand has confirmed it!

If you're looking for a USI stylus for your Chromebook, you may have chosen the Lenovo Duet, but Lenovo is out of stock theirs USI pen, or you bought a Chromebook from HP and HP is out of stock of their USI pen - do yourself a favor and just wait. Buy a USI stylus from your manufacturer, even if you have to pay a little more for it. The iPlume works in a pinch, but has some durability issues. I've waited my whole life for USI pens to come to market. Saw a review of this pen on Chrome without the box and was lucky enough to order the last one in stock. No settings and it worked fine for about 1 minute and then stopped. The only way it works again is to remove the battery, swap the battery and press the B button to start again. I am a high school teacher and I have an HP Chromebook 2n1 14b-ca0010nr. This does exactly what I need. In class, I had a dry-erase board that I could go to to explain concepts. Now, during distance learning, this stylus allows me to draw directly on my laptop. Cons: The tip of the stylus visibly changed after occasional use on the first day. However, this did not affect the ability to draw.

01/02/21 My iPlume USI stylus stopped working today. I replaced the battery but the Lenovo Duet still doesn't recognize the pen. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I recently bought a Lenovo Duet and wanted to use the touchscreen to get started with digital art. Compared to reviews of other USI pens that have come out, this one seemed like the best choice and I was not disappointed. It was easy to connect and use on my Chromebook. I've been using it in Chrome Canvas and Photopea for the past few days and it works great in those apps with no noticeable lag. Very slippery in hand, weighs on the back (where the battery is) making it chunky and the buttons on the body are VERY easy to press. The tip is quite narrow compared to some other pens. This means you can see better when the tip touches the screen. It's good. The color is pleasant. I complained about the clamp in a previous version of this review, but have since found that I have no complaints about it. Hence the editing. This is not my favorite USI pen.
