This Irish Waxed Linen is a dream to work with. Using this product, our team found that it was easy to thread and knot, and the final result was a beautiful, consistent beadwork with a rustic charm. The waxed linen adds durability and texture to designs. The only con was that the spool was smaller than expected, but it didn't hinder the overall experience. Ideal for bookbinding. Just the right thickness and amount of wax. It's a little thinner than the Book by Hand brand, but better waxed, so it's very easy to get clean, tight stitches.

Spool small (hard to tell at first) but sufficient for my purposes. I made a solid color rope for a friend to carve, but we decided to add some color. The color of the cord was beautiful, really dark red. If I'm willing to try other colors I will definitely order again.
