The best worker and I've had a few!

I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota and needed help backing up into hard to reach places. The kit was hooked up and earned in half an hour. Excellent screen resolution. For the price it can't be beat. The camera is adjustable and brightness and contrast are accessed via the OSD by pressing the buttons on the back of the screen. There is a video on YouTube that will walk you through the whole process if you need any help. I will buy again!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Can't believe how great this is, especially for the low price!

picture quality is just great! The monitor is not too big and not too small and can be placed anywhere! You can easily remove the monitor if you're worried a thief might see it and break in, and put it back in whenever you want. Seriously, I can't believe this is so great for such a low price! And they even offer the second one as a free gift (no additional promotion or extra charge); So it really is like getting two for one insanely low price!

Great for trailer hookup

I have this for my 1992 Ford PU when I hook up my trailer. My wife usually helps me, but sometimes she's unavailable or I miss her waving hands. This camera saves me routine work and allows me to always do everything right. I wear it all the time because the truck doesn't have a rearview mirror, so I just use it. He has a good view of his wife but puts on a great series for such a small screen. Very easy to install (took me 15 minutes but I just routed the wire from back to front without…

Smart investment see my photos

So much more than I expected for the price. The car parked in the back was parked right behind me at Home Depot and you can see the license plate. Setup was easy except the sticky pad didn't stay where I wanted it to. This was attached with Gorilla Glue double sided tape. I was concerned that the cord would not be long enough, my truck bed is 8 feet long, but there was a lot of cord and then some. I used an extra 15-20 zip ties, tape, and Gorilla double sided tape to hold it where it's out of…

Very robust in terms of vehicle safety

When mounted on a skid steer loader, the screen size is the same as the cab size. I was wary of magnetically attaching the screen to the stand, but it's actually a benefit when I bang it in and out, the screen falls off and doesn't break the stand. The screen has been dropped many times and still works perfectly. Video quality is a bit grainy but more than adequate. I can even identify small objects when backed up. Opportunities at night are also sufficient. Although it's not advertised as…

You get what you pay for

Fits my purpose. Nice. Eases clutch slamming. Clear enough and had adequate adjustment. The hard wiring isn't a big deal if you have an elevator. The cell was full and had everything we needed. problems. The video cable has an integrated power cord. Great idea, just hook it up to the reversing light (make the easternmost one) and in theory the display works as it should, just the other way around and not always. The power cord is dead. This is well checked at the beginning of the installation…

Installed on 2 different vehicles

This camera system works well. I installed mine by connecting the reverse light wire. The hardest part of the installation is routing the cables from the dash to the camera itself. If you're inexperienced in removing interior panels to route those cables, you might want to look at a wireless camera. Again, this can be a problem if you don't have access to an outlet near your license plate. I recommend caulking the RCA and power connections. If they get wet or are pulled, you will lose the…

Remember you will have to disassemble your car

Just in case anyone is as clueless as I was when I bought it. Keep in mind that you have to take the car panels apart (at least if you have an SUV) to use this! We had to remove the tailgate trim to connect it to the headlight and run the camera through the dome light to route the wires outside-in and through the side panels to route the wires back-to-front, although we got to that once came in the back seat we could push them in. That part was taken care of, it was worth the money and effort…

Great setup at a great price!

I have purchased over 15 of these rear view camera and monitor kits (for our Sprinter vans) from YAKRY and have always been happy with them. I hook them up directly to the reverse lights so they turn on when you put it in reverse. Routing the cable is quite a hassle, but it's easy enough that it's pretty quick if you know what you're doing. I installed my cameras on the roof of my van (see 150 degree camera view. Pros: - Multiple ways to turn on the system - Connects directly to the reversing…
