Impressive and works great

Bought these for my daughter's birthday. I gave each "team" their walkie-talkie and one for the base. The children worked on outdoor scavenger hunts and were able to talk to each other and the base. Worked great in all gardens and the price was perfect. These little radios are very impressive. The downside is that they require a lot of AAA batteries (6 per walkie-talkie).

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Crumpled

waste of time and money. Malfunction.

They seemed to fit our son and his friends well. One arrived defective right out of the box, but Revain allowed a return. Bought another pair. Used once with fresh batteries. Another walkie-talkie has already deteriorated and the seller does not respond to my message asking for warranty information. The product listing just says to contact the seller for that information but no response. 1 walkie-talkie is a waste of money...they were cool while they worked. The lack of warranty support is…

Fun for all ages Walkie-talkie friendly

So much fun for all the kids in the family. You get three walkie-talkies in one package. All different colors so don't worry about who's who. They have neck ropes to put them around your neck which makes them easy to wear. They can communicate over a long distance. They played manhunt and a few other games and then used them to just chat to each other from their separate bedrooms. Walkie talkies are fun and can be used for many things. Kids just love them. This set is easy to use for all ages…

Great for kids: baby electronics

We bought it because my daughter is 3 years old and likes to be alone in her room upstairs and we don't spend much time there. We think the baby monitor is too much for her age but this is the perfect solution. She can still tell us when she needs something and we can still check on her if we need it without paying large sums for something unnecessarily. They're great for it, and she loves that she can "tell us secrets". These are definitely kids toys so keep that in mind when buying, but they…

Pros
  • It's OK!

  • Not the best

Great kids walkie talkie with decent range

We have a fairly large tract of land with forest tracks and a half mile walk to the post box. My son is at an age where he's starting to gain some independence but he doesn't need a phone yet so we bought these. They work great! The range is very good - we haven't tested if it's really 2-3 miles, but we've tested them for a mile and they still work well. There is some degradation in sound quality over long distances, but not enough to be a problem, and they even work when it's in our annex…

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Not sure
