I am very satisfied with these carabiners. They get the job done and aren't bulky. They can withstand a lot of weight, but that's not their main goal.

Used these when traveling. I've attached things to it, said things will stay where I put them. As they say, it does what it says on the box.

This is real. Many complain that they creak and even send them back. Put a drop of oil in the joint and it will never squeak again. Ideally, use a plastic lubricant such as B. PTFE spray.

Clamps were as expected. But unfortunately 3 out of 4 clips make a loud squeak when fully open. I use them for hunting and I can't risk opening them when the animal is near me. I changed the first pack but the second pack did the same. I bought Maxpedition Grimlocks, they work as expected and don't creak.

Have lots of these in different packaging and for other purposes. Love the fact that they can be attached to MOLLE and similar sized slings. Ideal for protecting small items. Strong enough to hold gear but designed to break with any force your body would put on it so you don't lose your gear and put yourself in a potentially dangerous situation.

I wanted to be very specific and clear in the title of this review. These Grimlocks are genuine ITW Nexus Grimlocs, not Chinese fakes. I recently bought some Grimlocks on eBay (from China) and they were so flimsy I could easily pry them open with my fingers so I decided to try them. I'm glad I did. I can't open them with my fingers. You could get a real bargain for almost the same money. Would definitely buy them again.

Use these to easily add gear to my gear, especially for items I intend to photograph frequently. Definitely a weight limit and caution in cold weather. I had a OneTigris Commando water bottle holder and a 32oz water bottle hanging from just one of them; The first collapsed while falling behind in near-zero conditions. For such a load you need 2, which greatly complicates the setup. Otherwise great for storing a radio, belt clip as a weapon clasp, etc.
