Description of πŸ–ŒοΈ Iwata-Medea Airbrush Cleaner (16 Oz.): Effortless Cleaning for Airbrushing Equipment

A high-strength, general-purpose cleaner, great for cleaning any airbrush or any artist tools where acrylics, watercolors, gouache, inks or dyes are used. Works well on all models of airbrushes, synthetic and natural-haired paint brushes, and is excellent for use in the ultrasonic cleaning of technical pens. Environmentally safe and ready to use. Apply in the needle cap and along the needle to enhance paint flow and prevent tip drying

Not bad but not the best

Using the product is not a problem. It is very easy to use with a cap and the cost is a little high. It's concentrated, but not enough for a basic clean in my opinion. I use it for brushes but it takes forever to clean properly. I would have to leave it in the cup overnight for a good cleaning. It's a decent product, but it's not as big as it appears to the general public.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Bad set

It mostly works.

I had a bad reaction to some watercolors, I have no idea what happened. The cleaner refused to do anything about it, not even my tiny brushes. In the meantime! This completely destroyed the acrylics as if they were nothing and the brush was ready to use. I'm still thinking about what the hell happened. Maybe it was the mark of the paint. Also, ventilation is a must, or you'll choke if you decide to run your paint through an airbrush without a cleaning glass.

Pros
  • cool
Cons
  • too stupid

Works like a charm

This stuff really dissolves paint in a mug/pen. First, I rinse the cup with water a few times, then I add this cleaner, swirl it around, and drag the needle back and forth to get it in there as well. then I throw most of it away, hose off the excess and go clean up with a paper towel. When working with some colors I dip a cotton swab into the solution and work the needle with it. You don't have to use a lot of this stuff when applying, so it lasts a long time too. No smell either!

Pros
  • Eco-friendly and ready to use
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Bottle arrived on time, no leaks. The spray tip can be twisted in one direction to open it, allowing the user to spray some cleaner on the dirty parts of the airbrush. After the user has finished spraying the cleaner, the tip can be rotated in the other direction and closed to prevent evaporation or leakage. The bottle is transparent so the user can see how much product has been used and how much product is left. The liquid will help clean the parts of the airbrush.

Pros
  • Works well with all models of airbrushes, synthetic and natural bristle brushes, ideal for ultrasonic cleaning of tech pens
Cons
  • New competitors emerged

All Purpose Direct Cleaner

Received this with my new gravity feed airbrush and find it very effective and easy to use. I will buy it again. I put a few drops in a cup and spritz into a color changing glass. For a thorough clean, I dab a little on a paper towel or Q-tip (though I'll switch to a brush), rub, and the paint comes off easily. I use it for cups, needles and dipping smaller components. The small nozzle makes it easy to precisely control the amount of product used and it is completely odorless, which is always…

Pros
  • Apply to needle cap and along needle to improve paint flow and prevent tip drying out
Cons
  • Tip fade
