This is a fluffy bathrobe made from soft polyester. The material is VERY soft, but too light for colder temperatures. A good plush blanket is made of a heavier material than this robe. The design is good but the material is too light (especially if you want to stay warm with no other clothes underneath). My husband was pleasantly surprised when he opened this lovely plush coat. He was tired of his old terrycloth robe, which definitely showed his age. This jet black robe fits him well and he finds it comfortably warm.
