🏌️ Izzo Swami 6000 Golf GPS: Your Ultimate Golfing Companion! Review

The battery life of this device is amazing. I played 2 full rounds of golf (36 holes) in 2 days and the battery life was still at 71%. The automatic hole change works very well and the distance to obstacles is great. Great device and much better than the previous Swami I had for a number of years.

Great product. Benefits The new charging system is 100% better than previous models. The yard is always straight to the center front and back of the green. This GPS is very reliable. Disadvantage: If you keep your score, you must wait until you are 60 yards from the previous hole to record your score. Sometimes it can be a problem because you can forget about it. Everything else about this GPS is great. I can fully recommend this product.

The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because when I approach another hole it will bounce forward and not stay on the hole I'm on am even if I change. I like the strong magnet, it has never fallen off my cart even though I have a rain cover on the counter. I also love that you can switch back to magnetic charging and that I can play a few rounds between charges. This is my third Izzo and I really like her. Work the same as others, for a lot more money.

This is a very good gps range finder for golf. It's very accurate from a distance. You won't have any problems with the GPS, it finds the course quickly and switches from hole to hole with ease. The only problem I found is the function keys, you have to press really hard to use the keys (I had). Distance is yards/meters, not fractions. When moving, the distance indicator takes 3 seconds to catch up. Bold digital fonts are easy to read for older people with blurred vision. The logic button is a bit clumsy. For various functions, you have to scroll through the menu like on an old clamshell phone. I bought this to replace my Garmin Approach G8 which I have had since it came out but the screen died and I needed something new. The Swami 6000 is a great product and if I never owed the G8 I would never turn it down. The only thing I'm missing at the moment are the punch cards from the G8.
