Tape does not stick together for long

I don't understand how this tape got so many good reviews. Did I just receive a bad batch? I use this tape on small 2ml bags to put 1/4 lb loose candy on top and the tape will break in a day. After we put the tape on, we press down on the tape with our fingers to try to make a better seal, but that doesn't help.

Pros
  • JVCC BST-24 Sealing tape is designed to quickly and effectively seal polyethylene bags and other films when used in a bag sealing dispenser. Also used to color-code the age of perishable food.
Cons
  • No Instructions

Worked well enough to even seal ice packs.

Even sealing ice packs worked for me. A wider dispenser and tape will likely be used, as the back cover sometimes opens if you drop your bag onto the pavement from about 4ft (imagine that). Otherwise, if you just tear it up on the counter, you'll be fine. Works very well with bread bags and popcorn bags, simply roll up the bag before sealing or it will not become airtight.

Pros
  • Media/Backing: Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (UPVC) film. Adhesive: Solvent-based natural rubber. Thickness: 2.4 mil (backing, adhesive).
Cons
  • Doubtful

. To say, in addition to safe, good quality adhesive tape

Not really sure what to say other than the masking tape seems to be of good quality. I sew and love to sew clothes and I needed this width for sewing in zippers. I learned a little sewing trick from one of my sewing teachers. I also do crafts and this band size will come in handy for what I have in the manufacturing process. My order arrived on time and I am completely satisfied. :)

Pros
  • The adhesive tape is also printable. Please note that BST-24 is the JVCC part number for this specific product (stands for Bag Sealing Tape - 2.4 mil thick).
Cons
  • Socket required
