I bought 2 pairs for my twins. On both pairs, the pins on the buckles are VERY sharp and protrude right out of the shoes. The teeth don't fit at all when fastened. The shoes came straight out of the boxes. I can't have my daughters walking around school with projectiles sticking out of their shoes. It's a shame because the shoes are really cute.

I don't usually order shoes online but I thought it would work this time. My daughter was a size 3 last school year, so I went up a size. It was difficult to find size 4 and 5 school shoes for my daughters. The bow came in a size 4 and it seems a little wide but it was small for my daughter, if they had gone for a size 4.5 or 5 it might have worked. In case it helps anyone, the size on the sole of the size 4 shoe is listed as 35 and on the inside of the sole as 4.

I bought these shoes for my 8 year old daughter's school uniform. I really like the look and feel of the shoes. However, I ended up sending them back because the buckle in the shoes was small and difficult for my daughter to fasten. You need pretty dexterous fingers to do this. We have a very busy morning so we really wanted shoes that she could put on and take off by herself. It would be ideal if they had a large buckle or Velcro.
