I love the new headset.

I use it at work. I followed the instructions and looked at the online setup BUT I missed something. I ended up calling product support and the rep helped me in less than 15 minutes (including rep wait time). Very efficient. works wonderfully. [What have I missed? Moving the headphone jack that the handset was plugged into and moving the handset jack to the base of the headset]

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Crumpled

absolutely the best brand by far

If you spend some time with your phone every day, Jabra is for you. Spouse uses more than 8 hours a day, this is by far the best brand. I like the monophonic design (dual/stereo available). It took several contacts with the seller (and eventually the manufacturer) to get the right accessory to connect to Panasonic's new dual-channel phone. It's worth checking compatibility - and what options are needed before making your first call.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Security

Small range of accessories and consumables

Claimed 450ft range. Maybe in a desert with flat terrain and absolutely nothing between the headset and the base. In the office no more than 75 feet. I can hear people perfectly, but they can barely hear me. The mic only flexes at the end, so it's difficult to adjust for fit and function. I was most looking forward to the wireless distance as I needed to work away from my desk and still want to take calls, but that wasn't enough for me. Works great if you just need hands-free calling.

Pros
  • Large range

Good reliable headset for phone accessories

I want to start by saying I have never used a perfect headset but this one is close. The range far exceeds any Bluetooth headset on the market, and the lifespan is above average. I use them with a Polycom 335 and they work great (newer Polycoms have Jabra EHS support built in). A NOTICE. In order for the headset to answer/end calls with the polycom 335 (and possibly other VoIP phones), you must have an EHS adapter for your phone - this cable is not included with the headset. Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • No insurance

Great addition to my Cisco office phone

This makes taking calls and communicating with callers a lot easier. I can go to the files and discuss them while talking to clients. I can speak to the caller and at the same time speak to other employees who have also been working on the customer file. I am no longer tied to my office chair with a phone wire wrapped around me and the chair. It takes some time to get used to. It is difficult to properly connect and use the headset while making or receiving a call. Multilingual instructions are

Worth the money - accessories and consumables

I have a Jabra Pro 9450 flex connected via USB with Win7 to a virtual Win7 at work with a VoIP softphone 8602 for work use. Thank goodness for emergencies only. I'm disappointed that there isn't a Bluetooth interface so I can use the headset for my phone and just switch over if needed. Also the padding on the headset is not what I expected from Jabra as many of the devices I use at work are padded enough to be worn all day without any discomfort other than the ear to keep warm. Excellent wireless headset for computer and phone in one device!

I bought this wireless headset to replace my dead GNNetcom headset. This one is similar in that it's mono, overhead with a boom mic. everything i was looking for I took risks for another brand for a number of reasons. Firstly, this is a brand I have used in the past for cell phone bluetooth headsets and have been happy with the quality. Also, I was really looking for something I could wear and wear all day. The fact that I can push a button and use Skype on my Mac and then switch and use it toโ€ฆ
