2 Gallon Pressurized Accumulator Tank. Can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Water is totally separated from air chamber by a rubber bladder. 100 psi maximum working pressure. Connection for 3/4" NPT male thread.

Smooth Ride with Reliable Tank

This Automotive Replacement Cap offers a smooth ride with its reliable accumulator tank. The tank helps to reduce water hammering and increase the longevity of the pump .The compact design is easy to install and fits comfortably in tight spaces. The only con i encountered was a slight increase in water pressure but that was easily adjusted. Overall, a great addition to my car's plumbing system..

We seem to have solved our problem

I guess it wasn't that hard to install. My husband and I are far from mechanical and we successfully pulled out the old one with a rusty hole and replaced it with this one on our RV. We haven't traveled with him yet, but I'm sure everything will be fine.
