I ordered the wrong cable. This is not 4+4 EPS on PCI 6+2.

Wrong cable ordered. This is a GPU 6+2 power splitter and I wanted to split the motherboard EPS 4+4 power to add a GPU card. I need an 8 pin EPS cable from the PSU, not this PCIE 6+2. The photos show the cable connections correctly, but the description is poor.

Do not buy! fits AV accessory

I had 2 pins coming out of the 6 pin side of the connector. Not good quality. If they fix this problem, it will be good. To update! All but one have melted. I didn't pull more than they were supposed to hold. The problem lies in the connections. They don't connect well and overheat. This can cause a fire. My last one failed and the plug burned out. It looked like someone had set it on fire. Just upside down.

So far, so good! Item was as described and powers my GTX1080. The reason I had to order it was because my PSU didn't come with 2x 8 pin connectors and my graphics card came with the wrong adapters. The only negative I can point out is that the wires are yellow and there is no option to order them in a different color. However, there is a simple solution to this problem: varnishing the wires, which I did! I still give 5 stars because the item works perfectly and is as described!
