When I tried this dye, I was amazed at the richness of its Aztec gold hue. It gave my fabrics a new life and the perfect sheen that I needed for my Arts and Crafts projects. The dye is easy to use and the color fastness is impressive. However, the packaging could be more user-friendly.

This was not a new can. I used to have a brand new container of dhrma and was able to get at least 10 colors with 1 teaspoon each. Today I opened a new one, the jar is empty after 4 tsp. use.

The color is perfect, the paint absorbs very well. Some colors are more difficult to install, but this color is very easy to install. To get real gold, you need to use it on something with a lot of shine, like silk. When using it on wool I add either yellow or brown because it looks too orange without the shine. But this is the best "gold" I've tasted.
