Too good for Clays & Doughs

Black Cernit I ordered was a bit dirty. Black pigment came out when the block was cut, causing a mess. Once I processed it again the audio worked fine.

Mixed rating

Gives a great finish but I find it extremely difficult to condition. The only way to get it malleable enough to work with is to put it in a food processor and then sometimes I have to reheat it in the microwave for 6 or 7 seconds.

I enjoy working with Cernit.

Cernit has a more realistic quality than any other I've tried. Malleable and forgiving, which is important for this amateur dollmaker. A NOTICE. Due to some feedback saying how difficult it is to work with, I want to share my experience with Cernit. It's quite solid when you first open the package. However, if you hold it firmly in your hand and squeeze it repeatedly, it will soften enough in no time to form a flatter piece that can then be rolled out to the desired thickness with a glass or…
