Jacquard makes good products

I am a quilt artist and use colored pencils and other less permanent dyes on fabrics. I use colorless expander to seal these paintings. It soaks into the fabric and requires very little.

Pros
  • Can also be used as a base for Pearl Ex pigments
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Great Extender

I use this product with a colored pencil on fabric. The project I'm doing. The extension will help secure the pencil marks to the fabric so they don't bleed. I haven't used it for any other purpose so I'm not sure what else it will do.

Pros
  • Mix this with Lumiere and Neopaque to make them more translucent
Cons
  • Available in white only

Almost everything is wrong.

Unfortunately the jacquard quality is inferior. almost all of their paints that I have used from them oxidize and it seems mass production is inconsistent. I have used this flow extender as a sealer on one of my leggings to prevent the vinyl from chafing and it works great and has even survived a few washes so far. Impressed with the product I bought 3 more bottles with the same lot number but sadly found that it would ruin everything I use it for. Not only does it peel off incredibly easily…

Pros
  • Can be used on wood canvas, paper and natural or synthetic fibers
Cons
  • Something else
