simple transparent coating, daughter wears ballet/tap dance over pantyhose, doesn't stick, washes well. I try to remember to wash it when I wash more delicate items in cold water, but sometimes I forget and toss it with what's in the wash and it holds up well.

Fits great and looks lovely with her tights. This gives her a little more protection during gymnastics while still being able to perform all the moves. My daughter is 3 years old, 31 pounds and about 36 inches and we are the smallest size. It will fit her for a while as it is really stretchy.

This ballet skirt fits my daughter perfectly. She is 5 years old, 41 inches tall and weighs 33 pounds (for comparison). She has a small waist but I ordered a small for her (6/7 on the tag) knowing that this brand usually runs in a smaller size. The skirt was loose on her but I was able to tuck it in a little at the waist for a perfect fit and still the right length.

The target skirt fell apart and unraveled at the seams after two "hand wash" cycles in our washing machine. We have had this skirt for over a month now, we have washed it several times and everything is fine. It's a little bit pinker than I'd like, but close enough to the soft ballet pink we wanted.
