As for the sun visor clip, this one works great for the money. However, I'm not sure I like having the mount in the driver's line of sight. Satisfied with the object, it does what it should. Right there on the canopy.

Simple and easy to use handy phone holder specially designed for vehicles like post 2014 Ford Escape that have unusual front seat design. The overemphasis on the "cool factor" leaves no room for bin bags, mail, or other necessary supplies. The air vents are vertical, the dashboard slopes down, there is a tiny gap between the front seats, etc.

I've never been able to attach it to the visor in any way to keep the phone upright and facing me. Sides, front, rear visor, passenger, driver, visor up, visor down, didn't matter. I found a comfortable spot and corner when I need the phone about 5 inches away from my eyeballs. I'm only 5ft 2in so that's rarely a problem. This blur would block my ability to see the road and be very uncomfortable. I returned it.
