💡 Jameco Valuepro 3818 100 Solid Tinned Copper: The Ultimate Solution for Electrical Conduction Review

Bought for wire sculpture. We use the same wire in the industrial lab I work for, which is why I ordered it (had previous experience with the product). It looks like a real one, not a fake.

The cable came quickly but it's not what I ordered. I ordered Jameco Valuepro 3818-100 22 AWG 100 feet of solid tinned copper bar wire. What I got is bare wire 209486. So disappointed. Don't bother with the return but what a waste. I work in stained glass and can't use the resulting wire.

I've ordered this twice, once last year and again this year. The reel hasn't been used in the last year so I didn't know what I bought. Both coils are STEEL, NOT COPPER, so they cannot be soldered. I have ordered from Jameco many times in the past and have no complaints. This is obviously some kind of mistake as both coils were labeled as Lighting Vapes and not Jameco.
