Works well with low power stereos. The grilles are held in place with magnets, so removing them doesn't expose the usual pinholes you see on other exposed speakers. I like the low height as I have the speakers near the window.

In fact, this is a column of shelves in the shape of a tower. I didn't need anything too big there for my office and this thing fits the bill and my first impression plus wow it sounds better than the price. I would recommend it for smaller spaces and I sold it for 199 no that could be wrong

also nice for the eye, yes, not very for the ear. There is too much bass for my taste and it is not very well defined. The cheaper Jamo s803 is much better. What, although very similar, has "magic" somehow and does not. Also the 805's are too short for the tweeters to be at ear level and they look silly on small stands so I'd suggest you go for the s803 or s809 if you want more bass and tower design.
