Works well with low power stereos. The grilles are held in place with magnets, so removing them doesn't expose the usual pinholes you see on other exposed speakers. I like the low height as I have the speakers near the window.

Basically it's a bookshelf tower speaker I didn't need anything too big for my office and this thing fits my first impressions plus wow that sounds better than its price I would Recommend it for small spaces and I sold it for 199 so can't go wrong with that.

Subtle and elegant appearance Excellent value for money. Good sound requires 50 or more watts per channel. Also recommend a subwoofer. Noticed a definite sound improvement from adding a better preamp. I also noticed an improvement in high frequencies due to the addition of vibration pads to the base. These speakers are very insightful, the better the sound source, the better the results.

Pleasing to the eye, yes, the ear is not very good. There's too much bass for my taste and it's not very well defined. The cheaper Jamo s803 is much better. Which, although very similar, somehow has "magic” and s805 does not. Also the 805's are too short for the tweeters to be at ear level and they look silly on small stands so I'd suggest you go for the s803 or s809 if you want more bass and tower design.
