Not received the item described

Salux Nylon Bath Towel/Towel Japanese Cosmetic Aqua Green Leather Ordered (Sold by: SCS Collectibles, Inc). Salux Japanese Nylon Face Skin Washcloth/Towel - Aquamarine Green. I didn't really pay attention until I opened it up and noticed that it wasn't made by Salux but by a Chinese company, Leyijie, who made a similar but not identical product. Originally made in Japan. The one I received was made in China. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to tell if you're getting an original…

Salux does what it says on the tin

I've been using nylon shower gloves every day for two decades so I didn't expect much of a difference from Salux but my skin looks really great! It's also fun to use. I only got it today so I'm saying this after one use but I think over time my skin will only get better and softer. I even used it on my feet and they got softer. Shower gloves have never really helped my feet, but they feel better. I ordered Friday evening and it arrived Monday afternoon and I'm not a main supplier. It was really

Makes skin super soft and smooth

I love this washcloth. It works so well and leaves your skin very soft and smooth. The fabric is quite rough so if you're super sensitive to scratches you'll probably hate it, but the texture makes it great for exfoliating. This towel is about the size of a full size towel so you can lay it on your back to dry (I'm a tall woman (size 28) so it fits almost everyone) or you can make a washcloth or wipes off of it. . I use it on my face too, I hardly ever touch it with my face when I do because…

Love these on bathroom accessories

I have been using Salux washcloths for 40 years and love them. They are also long enough to easily wash your back. I have tried others from time to time and they are too soft. When we go on vacation and sometimes I forget to pack, I don't feel clean. They are amazing and I will never be without them. Each one lasts me about 2 years before finally starting to crack. Can still be used like this but then I'll buy a new one =) I fold mine a few times then add the soap. It foams well. Simply rinse…

Pros
  • Softer than a washcloth but still has an exfoliating texture for the whole body. Produces a rich foam that stimulates the skin and circulation. Ideal for anti-cellulite massage.
Cons
  • No Instructions

I LOVE these body wash towels! This is not your regular loofah or sponge I've ever used, but it left my skin silky smooth. They scratch a little when wet, but feel good on the skin. Be careful when applying body gel before getting it wet as it will wash off quickly as it is porous and does not absorb water. They do not foam as much as a sponge for washing, but they perfectly smooth out all the bumps and wash off easily and completely. And they are long enough to be held with both hands for easy

I received the original part number

I started this around 1975 in Japan (Nishi-Ogikubo, Tokyo). I've used other doubles but nothing replaces it. It was easy to see what people used in Sentou (neighborhood bath), even then the light-colored washcloth was very popular, so I went to get it myself. Haven't used this new one yet so that's a star rating for Salex that I've used in the past. (See my photos in the gallery) The material has changed, as has the packaging. The lady in the foreground used to lift her hair. I've seen fakes…
