JBL FLIP 5 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Gray (Renewed) Review

Several friends own an older JBL Flip and I was amazed at the sound they made when connecting the phone via bluetooth. Sea water or rain splashes on them on their boats and that is not a problem. Why spend a fortune on a boat stereo when two of them are just as good. This is my humble opinion.

I'm sure sometimes returns are for the most mundane of reasons. but I do NOT see the first scratch on this device. which may indicate that the 'updated' item is the taped mark on the outer box. I have a JBL Charge 4 and I bought a JBL Flip 5 thinking their 2 newest speakers would be compatible and connected but they are NOT! cost half as much as the Flip 5, sound just as good and can be chained together. Brand New. It's worth the money, I wouldn't be happy for full price. But very satisfied at the current price, sounds good, lots of volume for outdoor use. If you need a speaker for a party, depending on the type of party, it probably won't be enough. The only complaint I have is the power button, it doesn't seem to be perfectly aligned, it's hard to press. This is perhaps the place of failure. I will update if it doesn't work.

This little speaker is amazing! We have a JBL soundbar, and while this little guy doesn't sound as good as a full soundbar, it definitely gives it an edge when it comes to sound quality versus speaker size.
