you can't tighten them to specification. They are very soft cheap aluminum and after you put them on you better leave them. Turning them on and off multiple times will mess up all the threads. One even got stuck on a ledge and when we got it off we had to buy a new bolt and the nut was torn to pieces.

Bought and installed on 06 STi. They look fantastic but don't expect them to hold up after a few tire changes. I put 3 layers of plastic wrap on top before putting the base on to protect them and still messed them up a bit. Still looks great but doubt the longevity of the paint. For the price I'm still happy with my purchase and will only replace if they go bad.

They look good and the color doesn't fade. Unfortunately, after only a few weeks and two wheel changes, some of the threads snapped; one of them has lost so many threads that it is completely unusable. If you're looking to buy tuning nuts, just spend your money on a quality set. It was impossible to put them on right away without scratching the painted surface and now they have faded to pink. The parts that are still painted look like they have been painted with nail polish! Not to mention they are incredibly light and I was extremely skeptical about putting them on as the original nuts are not only half the size, they are also twice the weight!
