My standard AC adapter decided to "blow its ticket" and became unwieldy when used as intended. With this new adapter I was finally able to charge/power my laptop without any problems. The only downside is that the plug comes out of the charging port too easily, so be aware if your laptop is underpowered.

One star, but why? When I connected it to the network, my computer would not turn on. I took it to a computer repair shop and showed them the plug and what had happened, they checked and said the charger was faulty - the computer burned out. So now I have to either get that old laptop fixed or buy a new one even though I just wanted a new charger because my old one isn't charging properly anymore. While this plug is cheaper and should have worked with my laptop if it wasn't defective, I think…
